Carnival Hunt bunny items explained
Quick explanation
Because a lot of players are struggling with the items here is a quick written rundown of what the items do. As of writing this guide I have 50+ hours in the game. If I made any mistakes please let me know through discord and I'll change it as quickly as possible. I put this together in 10 mins because someone asked for it. I will add pictures/video's later.
The items Jack trades
- Smoke bomb
With a smoke bomb you can hide yourself. If you are inside of it, sound gets muffled, you become less visible. Be carefull, not completely invisible. You can also use them to "disable" the ticketmasters. If you throw one inside of their area, he won't alert the magician if you run through it.
- Jinglebun
This device is used to alert the bunnies of the magician's location. When you place it down and the magician runs over it, other bunnies will see his location.
- Lockpick
Lockpicks are used to open chests.
- Balloon
With balloons you won't be able to rise levels but in a pickle you can use them to desent a level without losing a gear. You can also use them to cross a path that is been blocked.
- Bike
Bikes are great in chase. When you are on a bike, you are faster than the magician making it take longer for him to catch you. Just beware of his hat trick.
- Trampoline
Trampolines give you a higher jump. Because of this you can skip certain gears or get to loops you normally wouldn't.
- Firework Rocket
Fireworks are great! Not only are they beautiful to look at, they are also great to waste the magician's time. In chase you can hit the magician to stun him and gain some distance. When he is holding a teammate you can shoot him so he drops them so they won't lose a gear. If you see an impostor bunny, you can shoot it to destroy it. You can also hit the TickerMen with them. Doing so deactivates them for a limited time.
- Mousetrap
Mousetraps can be used on the cages and Le Box. When a box or caged is trapped, the bunny will be dropped without losing a gear if the magician tries to put it in there.
- Marble Balls
Marble balls are funny as hell. Place them on the ground and when the magician runs over it he gets a skillcheck. If he succeeds he can continue to run after you but if he fails ... oh boy, watch him fall to the ground.
- Cuddlebun
On the bottom left next to your charge you see a bunny, this circle will fill up with a yellow color. This is your sanity. Use a cuddlebunny to bring it back down.
- Shock Box
A shock box is used to regain some charge without the need of a teammate or jack.
- Oiler
The nightmare of all magician players. With an oiler, you can regain a lost gear. So it basically gives you an extra life. (max is 3, don't be greedy)
Other items you can find on the level
- Candy
Candy is used to buy charge or items at the jack. You can also use candy in the minigame to get random items.
- Rope
Rope is amazing, once you are on the second or third floor, look for rope spots. Here you can place the rope and then you will be able to use it to go up or down safely.
- Radar
The radar can be used to find different items.
- impostor bunnies
- oilers
- gears
- treasure (the lost hat for example)
- keys
If you put your radar in an item mode, the items will turn blue, if they are in a lootable container/bunny, they will turn blue. If you get closer the dail will go to red.
- Key
Keys are the main resource. You use it to open gates, charge yourself and teammates, activate jack, use canons and the rollercoaster. Be careful with them, the magician likes them as well.
- Toolbox
By dragging a toolbox into jacks "inventory" you can trade it with some candies to get random items. Happy gambling!
- Gear
Gears are used to enable gates. These gates make it possible to move up a floor or easier to move around a floor. You will also need gears to power the exit gates.
